Hot Topic Workshops
Hot Topic Workshops provide N-CODE partners with the opportunity to come together to focus on a topical mathematical or healthcare challenge within the N-CODE remit. They comprise of presentations, but importantly also include focussed brain-storming sessions and discussion. Outputs could include new collaborative groups forming to develop future funding proposals or position papers.
We see the organisation of these workshops as a development opportunity for early career researchers, as well as established groups and aim to hold these at various locations over the tenure of the award making them accessible for as many partners as possible. If you are interested in organising a Hot Topic Workshop, please get in touch! Funding of up to £5,000 can be provided to cover the cost of venue, hire, speaker travel and subsistence, as well as the cost of travel for those with limited resource. As with all N-CODE events, funding is also available to cover additional childcare or caring costs that may arise from participating.
