The “Co-creation of Digital Health Technologies for the Management of Functional Neurological Disorders (FND)” NCODE hot topic workshop was held on 11th October 2023, at the University of Central Lancashire.
The event was co-organized by Dr. Anirban Dutta from SMQB and Dr. Abhijit Das from Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and brought together individuals with FND, healthcare professionals, researchers, and technologists to co-create digital tools aimed at improving diagnosis, self-management, and long-term care for those affected by FND.
These experts explored the potential of digital technologies to address the unique challenges of FND, such as symptom monitoring and personalized care.
The workshop provided a collaborative platform for addressing FND’s complexities, emphasizing the role of digital health tools in bridging the treatment gap and improving quality of life for patients.
